What I work on

I joined National Breathe Free in May 2024, straight out of college. As product owner and lead engineer, I designed nearly the entire internal platform, with direction from our CTO and development support and technical contributions from another engineer.

The platform serves 50+ clinics and 300+ total users. Enrichment workflows launched in January 2026; the insurance verification workflow began development around July and is now live.

My hardest engineering decision has been how to scale the ETL pipeline efficiently. If I could start again, I would begin with ingestion and spend more time on the data model before the frontend.

How I work with people

When someone on my team hits a wall, I'd rather debug it with them and talk through the reasoning than hand over a fix. Understanding why something failed is part of making the next attempt better.

Before this

I earned a B.S. in Computer Science at the University of West Florida, with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering.

Some of that work lives in the project archive: a compiler front end in C, a C++ Minesweeper, and an image classifier built with TensorFlow and Keras.

Outside software

I enjoy cooking and sharing food with the people I love. I play video games when I find the time and watch a lot of educational YouTube.
